Khawaja Muhammad Iqbal is the CEO of Mahmood Textile Mills Ltd and director in other companies of the group. He has to plan and forecast for both long and short-term positions. He has actively participated in planning for the new projects and served in an excellent manner for expansion and development. He is responsible for proposing and developing the Company’s strategy and overall commercial objectives in close consultation with the Chairman and the Board. He has vast grasp over finance, corporate, legal, raw material procurement and administrative matters. Moreover he has been involved in various operational activities’ providing him in-depth knowledge of each business activity. He is lifetime member Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and former president Bahawalpur and DG Khan Chamber of Commerce, Vice President FPCCI, member executive committee All Pakistan Textile Mills Association and Multan chamber of commerce. He has also served on board of directors’ in Askari Insurance. He has also supervised various government trade delegation sent abroad.
Khawaja Muhammad Younus is CEO of Roomi Fabrics Ltd. & Khawaja Tanneries (Pvt.) Ltd. and director in other companies of the Group. He is involved hands-on with the development of the Group’s textile operations, which has provided him with an in-depth understanding of the business. He is expert in business dealings especially procurement of plant & machinery and other Assets. Having good experience in sale promotion, he also added goodwill for Mahmood products in local as well as international Markets. He is, at present, chairman of Multan Dry Port Trust, chairman Punjab social security health management company (Muzafargarh Hospital) and director Pak Gen Power Ltd. He has been president of DG Khan Chamber of Commerce, member executive committee Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry, member executive committee All Pakistan Textile Mills Association, Chairman Multan education trust, and member governing body Textile College of Bahauddin Zakaria University.
Khawaja Muhammad Muzaffar Iqbal is Master in Business Administration. He is managing the operations of weaving business unit of the Company through his skills, knowledge and experience of Weaving Business. The Unit under his control and supervision is one of the most effective and efficient producer of A grade quality fabric in Pakistan. Weaving business is contributing substantially of total turnover of the Company by exporting larger share to Europe, Turkey, China, USA, North African Market, South American Market, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and other markets & customers of the world.
Khawaja Hussamuddin Roomi is Bachelor in Business Administration from London School of Economics (UK) and has attended Executive courses at London School of Economics (UK). He joined the group in 2103. He is proficiently managing the affairs of the group related to Marketing, Finance, audit, IT & ERP. He widely travels abroad for his marketing related business activities.
Mr.Abdul Rehman Qureshi is a member of the company’s Board elected as an independent director. He is law graduate of the Punjab University, Lahore and possesses a vast and varied experience in various capacities while working at senior level in the erstwhile Corporate Law Authority (CLA) and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the apex regulator of the Capital Market, Non-Banking Finance Companies, Insurance Industry and the entire corporate sector. He has been on the faculty of the International Islamic University, Islamabad (evening classes), teaching company law and comparative securities laws. Mr Qureshi has attended several international courses, seminars, training programs and workshops on various subjects related to corporate laws and corporate governance particularly in the countries like Australia, Japan, India, USA and U.K. Besides, he acted as members of various committees and commissions constituted to review and revamp the corporate laws namely the company law, Securities Law, Insurance Law, and Banking Laws. He has been associated to prepare the final draft of the Companies Bill, 2016.
